What we track
For each AI product we record what is free: the allowance and its unit, how it resets, whether a card is required, what happens when it runs out, who is eligible, and any official offer on top.
Each product is tracked per surface (App, Code, API) and per edition (China, International, Shared). When a chat app is free but its API is paid, each surface gets its own verdict — never a blanket “this product is free”.
What counts as verified
A fact is verified only when it is read from the provider’s own page — pricing, docs, help center, announcement, promo terms, the official site or the App Store. Community posts, screenshots and third-party sites are never used.
A dated announcement fetched today is not proof of current terms: current values come only from current pages. Changes of more than 30% in an allowance or price need a second official source or an official announcement before they are published.
If the provider doesn’t say it, neither do we. Missing details read “Not published by provider”. They never count as “no”, “zero” or “the same”, and never match a filter.
Freshness
Official pages are checked automatically every day. Every fact carries a last-verified time; once it is past its freshness window without a new check, it reads “May be outdated”.
When a page cannot be fetched we show “Could not re-verify recently” and leave the fact unchanged — a failed fetch never means an offer ended. When official sources disagree, the fact reads “Under review” and the old value is kept only as history.
What we never publish
None of these appear anywhere on this site:
- Redemption codes, invite links, QR codes or passwords
- Estimates — there is no “estimated” value anywhere on this site
- Rankings, scores, “best for” or recommendations
- Full copies of provider pages, page snapshots, screenshots or provider logos
Quotes and license
Official wording is quoted briefly, as evidence; full provider text and snapshots are never published. Provider text and trademarks are not covered by our data license.
The structured facts and notes we compile are published under CC BY 4.0.
Corrections
When we get something wrong we publish a correction stating what was recorded, what is correct, and why; the original record stays, marked “Corrected”.
